Itinerary
DAY 01.- ARRIVAL TO LIMA
Arrival to the city of Lima. Reception at the airport and transfer to hotel.
Rest of the day free. Overnight
DAY 02.- VISIT OF THE CAPITAL CITY (B)
Breakfast
Morning. Guided tour of the city of Lima. We will appreciate Lima in its three historical periods: pre-Hispanic, colonial and modern.
Panoramic view of the "Huaca Pucllana", a magnificent ceremonial and archaeological center built in the 4th century AD and considered "sacred town" by the Incas. We visit the Historical Center of Lima, where you will appreciate more than fifty monuments and colonial buildings, highlighting the Paseo de la Republica, the Plaza San Martin, the Plaza Mayor, the Government Palace, the Archbishop's Palace, the Cathedral Basilica, the Municipal Palace between others. Entrance to the Basilica and Convent of San Francisco, which constitutes the largest sample of colonial religious art in America. Highlights the visit to its underground crypts known as "Catacombs".
From contemporary Lima, we will visit the most traditional residential areas of Lima, El Olivar de San Isidro, Miraflores and Larcomar.

DAY 03.- DEPARTURE TO AREQUIPA (B)
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport to take a flight to Arequipa. Arrival to the city of Arequipa. Reception at the airport and transfer to hotel.

DAY 04.- + CITY TOUR (B)
Breakfast.
Afternoon, we start the tour to the city with the visit El Mirador de Carmen Alto (place where you can appreciate the Chilina Valley) Mirador de Yanahuara, Santa Catalina Monastery, Plaza de Armas, The Cathedral (only facade), Church and Cloisters of the Jesus company. Includes Santa Catalina. The convent was largely restored in order to achieve a better public appeal, conserving its original features and plant. The small streets and cloisters are full of colorful flowers and the walls are painted in fresh dyes. The narrow alleys lead to the various parts of the convent that go through picturesque places, places to stay and sleep with the original furniture. Overnight in Arequipa.
DAY 5.- COLCA & CHIVAY (B, L)
Breakfast. Departure from Arequipa via Yura, passing through the slopes of Chachani, Pampa de Arrieros, Pampa Cañahuas National Reserve where the slender vicuna is appreciated, we continue through Vizcachani, Pampas de Toccra where we observe a variety of birds, then we will border the Chucura crater to reach Patapampa (4,800 masl) and Mirador de los Andes where you can see the volcanoes that surround the city of Arequipa. Descent to the town of Chivay for lunch. Accommodation at the hotel. In the afternoon visit the thermal baths La Calera (does not include entrance to the bathrooms). Overnight at Colca
DAY 6.- COLCA EXCURSION - ARRIVAL TO PUNO (B)
After breakfast, very early, we will go to the Cruz del Cóndor (41 km from Chivay) where you can see one of the most spectacular views of the Canyon, and you can almost always see the condors on magical flights. We will return appreciating the towns of Pinchollo, Maca, Yanque and the viewpoints of Antahuilque and Choquetico. At midday we will arrive to Chivay, free time to have lunch (not included) then we will go to the station to take our bus to Puno, night arrival and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Puno.
DAY 7.- EXCURSION TO SILLUSTANI & LAGUNA DE HUMAYOC (B)
Breakfast. In the afternoon visit to Sillustani, a cemetery where you can see a series of impressive tombs belonging to the Kolla culture (1200 - 1450) that developed in the northern part of the lagoon, in the town known as Hatuncolla. The particular shape of the tombs, inverted cone trunks, called chulpas, are constructions that in smaller numbers are also found in several other highland locations, we continue with the Humayoc lagoon, return to the city. Overnight in Puno.
DAY 8: THE UROS ISLANDS - TAKILE (B, L)
Breakfast. We will have a boat excursion to Lake Titicaca, our visit to the islands of the Uros group of floating islands that date back to pre-Hispanic times, the Uros Islands (3,810 m.s.) are in the bay of another island. heading to Taquile. The history of Taquile goes back to the pre-Inca times. In fact, there are funerary towers of that time on the top of the hill called "La Isla", built entirely of carved stones. These have the shape of small rectangular rooms and the entrance, contrary to the tombs of Sillustani, are spacious and allow the entry of a person standing, afternoon return to Puno. Overnight in Puno.
DAY 9.- PUNO – CUSCO (B, L)
Breakfast. At the indicated time we will board the bus to Cusco, enjoying "La Ruta del Barroco Andino", this Tourist Package Includes:

DAY 10.- CUSCO CITY TOUR & 4 RUINS (B)
Breakfast. 14hrs-18.30hrs. Guided tour of the city of Cusco and nearby Ruins; Visit to the Cathedral located in the Plaza Mayor. On the façade and in the interior, the Renaissance style predominates, with an interior decoration very rich in carvings in cedar and alder. Then visit the Temple and Convent of Santo Domingo (Dominico) and Koricancha (Inca temple). Continue to the outskirts of the city, Sacsayhuaman, would have been in fact a construction of religious character, but for its location and style was considered by the Spaniards and chroniclers as a military building, Qenko continues or "labyrinth" is considered a sacred place in which ceremonies were held in honor of the Sun, the Moon and the stars above, Puka Pukara would have served as a tambo or place of rest and accommodation and finally visit to the Fortress of Tambomachay that would have fulfilled an important religious function linked to water and to the regeneration of the earth. Return to Cusco and transfer to your hotel.

DAY 11.- SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS (B, L)
Breakfast at the hotel.
At 8:00 am, the pick-up of passengers at your hotel begins. Full day excursion to the Sacred Valley. Visit to the town of Pisac. Known for its handicraft market and Inca archaeological sites among which you can see an irrigation system, an astronomical observatory, a solar clock or Intiwatana and andenería. Lunch at the Local Restaurant.
Visit to the ruins of Ollantaytambo. Built during the Inca times as a fortified area that includes a temple, platforms and an urban sector. You can distinguish two sectors, one linked to worship and religion; and the second set dedicated to housing. It was an important administrative center that probably also fulfilled military functions, as its walls and turrets show.
Visit to Chincheros. Stresses the church built during the colonial years, with beautiful canvases of the Cusco school. On Sundays there is a fair in which merchants and farmers exchange their products, using barter (exchange).
Return. Sacred valley hotel accommodation.
DAY 12.- MACHU PICCHU, WONDERFUL CITY INCA (B, L)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Early pick up from your hotel and transfer to the local station to board a bus that will take you in approximately 30 min. towards the wonderful Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, Incan citadel set high in the Andes Mountains in Peru, above the Urubamba River valley. Built in the 15th century and later abandoned, it’s renowned for its sophisticated dry-stone walls that fuse huge blocks without the use of mortar, intriguing buildings that play on astronomical alignments and panoramic views. Its exact former use remains a mystery. there you will have a guided tour that will last approximately 2hours and half.
Return bus to Aguas Calientes. Buffet lunch at the local restaurant.
Show up at the train station 30 minutes before the train departs. Return to Cusco. Arrival, reception and transfer to your hotel. Accommodation in Cusco.
DAY 13.- INTIRAYMI (B)
Breakfast at the hotel.
8:00 AM start of the Inti Raymi departure from the hotel visit Koricancha, parade ground, ceremony in Sacsayhuaman, return. Accommodation in Cusco.
DAY 14.- CUSCO - CUSIPATA - VINICUNCA – CUSCO (B, L)
As an important detail we must bear in mind that this route is less demanded than the traditional route by Pitumarka and Kayrahuiri. We pick you up at 6:00am from your hotel in Cusco, start the excursion to the Southeast of Cusco passing by Cusipata (3339 masl) until arriving at the Llactoc hamlet, where we will appreciate herds of alpacas and llamas and a typical flora of the area, here we start our walk for approximately 2:30 hours, continuing, we appreciate snowy mountains and wonderful landscapes, finally we reached the mountain of colors (Vinicunca), after 1 hour of visit at the top, we start to descent for 1 hour and half until we reach Llactoc, to take our transport unit and return to Cusipata to take our typical lunch, we return to our transport and return to Cusco, arriving at the city around 18:00 hours. DAY 15.- TRANSFER OUT
Breakfast. At the appropriate time transfer to Cusco airport back to Lima for your international flight.
